This tutorial shows how to restake Coinbase Staked ETH (cbETH) to Eigenlayer by delegating your cbETH to an Eigenlayer Operator. The advantage of doing this is that you can earn additional yields from the Eigenlayer Operator on top of your ETH staking yields.
For example, in February 2025, ETH staking yields on cbETH are around 2.75% APR. Restaking cbETH to an Eigenlayer Operator yield an additional 0.8%, increasing the APR by almost 30%.
The liquid staking tokens you can delegate to Eigenlayer Operator include:
Coinbase (cbETH)
LIDO (stETH)
Rocketpool (rETH)
Native staked ETH
This tutorial shows how to delegate Coinbase Staked ETH (cbETH) to the Solodarity Eigenlayer Operator, but you can restake to any Eigenlayer Operator.
Purchase cbETH through any ETH wallet or from Coinbase.
In your browser, go to the Eigenlayer Dashboard

Connect your wallet and note that the cbETH you purchased is listed under the Restaked Assets.

Click on the RESTAKE button (on upper right part of screen) to bring up the Select an Asset screen

Select the cbETH Asset to bring up the Deposit screen

Select the MAX button on the right to deposit 0.15 cbETH

Click the NEXT button at the bottom of the Deposit screen to bring up the Delegate to an Operator screen. Type “solodarity” into the search box to bring up the Solodarity DAO operator.

Press the SUBMIT button to start the delegation process. You will need approve 3 separate transactions in your wallet to delegate your cbETH to the Solodarity Eigenlayer operator.

Once the transactions are complete, you will get a screen confirming that your cbETH has been delegated to the Solodarity operator.
